Great Views of Mount Fuji from Shindo Pass Fujiyama Twin Terrace

The Shindo (new road) Pass Fujiyama Twin Terrace is located in the Kamiashigawa District, Ashigawa-cho, Fuefuki, Yamanashi Prefecture. You can enjoy the magnificent views of Mount Fuji from the two observation decks, the Second Terrace and the First Terrace. The sightseeing (FUJIYAMA Twin Terrace) bus service is available from the parking lots to the foot of the Twin Terrace during late April until late November with small fees. You need to walk from the bus stop to the First Terrace for a little more than five minutes.

Fuji Fugaku Wind Cave

The Fuji Fugaku Wind Cave is a lateral type cave. The cave served as a storage place for cocoons and seeds until around 1955. The cocoons and seeds were kept in cold storage to keep them from growing and to preserve good quality.

Sutama Onsho Temple

Onshoji (Onsho Temple) was founded by a holy priest, Echigo Ajari Nichiben Shonin, and belongs to the Nichiren sect of Buddhism.  The temple was built in 1294 (http://onsyouji.com/onshoji_E.html; https://onsyoujihogara.sakura.ne.jp/). Located in Sutama-cho, Hokuto, Yamanash Prefecture, the temple is known for its summer cypress around this time of the year.
