The Fuji Fugaku Wind Cave is a lateral type cave. The cave served as a storage place for cocoons and seeds until around 1955. The cocoons and seeds were kept in cold storage to keep them from growing and to preserve good quality.

The Onshoji Temple was founded by a holy priest, Echigo Ajari Nichiben Shonin, and belongs to the Nichiren sect of Buddhism. Located in Sutama-cho, Hokuto, Yamanash Prefecture, the temple is known for its summer cypress around this time of the year.
